Ask any question about flying or learning how to fly, and get an answer from our community of Flight Instructors (CFIs), and Professional/Private pilots.

I listen to a few every now and then. I used to be much more on top of them, but I am a little too busy now.:

Some of them are:

  • The Finer points
  • Fly with me
  • Airspeed
  • Naval Air (an air crewman tells of path through crew training and pilot training)

Ones I am aware of but don't listen to:

  • Plane crazy down under
  • Uncontrolled airspace

There was one with Budd Davisson or someone like that who did pilot reports on a wide variety of airplanes he flew. Great series - but no longer publishing I think.

I just checked itunes - there are a lot more than when I last went to look for podcasts.

There are some really good ones from the University of North Dakota Aerocast. Although they're meant to work with the standardization for the 141 school, there's still great information on VFR maneuvers, IFR approaches, landings, and some other things.

Here's one that just started that seems to be pretty good:

InvertedCast http://invertedcast.com/

I like it because it features pilots with not much more flight time than me (around 200 hours) and they are all crazy for aerobatics!

What I've been addicted to recently has been AvWeb's Youtube channel, its cheesy and not very polished at all, but also highly informative and pretty entertaining.
