What does the Terrafugia Transition (the road-able LSA aircraft) and the Icon A5 (amphib LSA) have in common as far as the FAA & the LSA requirements are concerned?

They both share the 1430 lb weight exemption for amphibious LSA aircraft instead of the standard 1320 lb LSA restriction.
